An Unusual Collaboration

The exhibition will also mark the start of a new era for Eurus Gallery. Previously open to the public only during exhibitions and otherwise operating by appointment for clients or private events, the gallery will now become Asia’s first permanent space dedicated to contemporary jewelry art.

The silver elements of the necklace, along with the rest of the collection, was hancrafted and assembled in Thailand, a country famed for its refined silver craftsmanship. Many ideas, such as the use of baroque pearls, came directly from Wisharawish. To ensure flawless assembly across multiple countries, Epic Jewellery developed the 3D models and technical solutions.

The central image of this collection
is a relaxed hunter gathering mushrooms in a Scandinavian-like Forest on his way home. Inspired by this fantastical, fairy-tale theme, Wisharawish selected rare Thai silks, many with ornaments specially created for this collection. The color palette and stylistic approach of the jewelry were also chosen to reflect this narrative.

Several talented craftsmen from different countries participated
in its creation. The pattern sketch was drawn by the acclaimed Russian artist Irina Petrakova.
The central mokume gane element was crafted in Tokyo by Spanish master Jaume Labro, widely regarded as the world’s foremost specialist in this ancient Japanese technique.

The jewelry was developed by Anna Minakova, acting both as Creative Director of Epic Jewellery and as founder of her new personal project Alice in WonderLab, launching this fall. Her inspiration came directly from the collection’s concept and silks shown to her by Wisharawish.

An extraordinary project has brought together several renowned brands, remarkable artists, and talented craftsmen. The starting point was the new collection by Thai designer Wisharawish —Hunter (SS2026), whose premiere was scheduled for Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo on September 6.

This led to the creation of necklaces and bracelets made of handcrafted silver chains with large links, baroque pearls, and a symbolic motif evoking a mycelium. The flagship piece of the collection is a silver necklace with a central mokume gane element set with diamonds.

Later, the jewelry will be showcased at Eurus Gallery in Bangkok as part of The Big Hunt exhibition, opening on September 20. This exhibition explores the relationship between fashion, jewelry, and painting.
The collection’s debut will take place at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo, where Wisharawish has been a recurring participant. For Anna Minakova and Epic Jewellery, this marks their first participation in Fashion Week and their first collection created specifically for the runway.

Its first projects include Eye Drops (Epic x Zhenya Mironov), premiering at the major art fair Cosmoscow in Moscow and Mycelium (Epic x Wisharawish), premiering at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo alongside Wisharawish’s SS2026 show.

About Alice in WonderLab

About Epic Jewellery

At its core is Alice, a symbolic image of the modern woman.
Alice in WonderLab is the new project by journalist, gemologist, jewelry expert, and Epic Jewellery’s Creative Director Anna Minakova. This sophisticated jewelry art laboratory develops both permanent collections and bespoke creations, as well as collaborative projects.
The collection draws inspiration from the lives of “displaced hunters” in the quiet moments after their daily routines, when they pause to gather forest goods and forage for mushrooms on their way home. Thesesmall yet profound joys are delicately translated into contemporary fashion.

The silhouettes embody both fluidity and strength, reminiscent of journeys through meadows and forests. Patterns and colors are inspired by traces of woodland paths: warm summertones that speak of friendship and kinship intertwine with cool yet playful hues, capturing the energy of a vigorous morning through to the festive intimacy of twilight.
