The secret ingredient is contrast

Pearls, punk and a little irony

The Next Move

The same idea becomes more radical in another two-finger ring where the pyramid studs form a stylised cross. The pyramids are glossy and finished in black rhodium, while the body of the ring remains matte.
The rings play with time. Traditionally, a signet ring suggests inheritance, family history and an object passed from one generation to another. Here, a form associated with the past carries an icon from a completely different era — one of the most recognisable characters of early video-game culture.
Made in silver with yellow-gold plating, they are set with flat transparent quartz engraved with character reminding of Pac-Man.
And because Salade de Fruits demanded at least one ingredient of pure irony, the collection also includes a series of pinky signet rings.
A black pearl appears in a silver mono ear cuff finished with black rhodium. In a two finger ring, the softness of the pearl is combined with polished pyramid studs, bringing a deliberately punk element into an otherwise restrained composition.

Against this abundance of colour, Alice created jewellery that is predominantly graphic, geometric and laconic.

Wisharawish’s new collection is vivid and playful, filled with softened bonbon colours — shades reminiscent of traditional French sweets in a bonbonnière, bright beneath a delicate, almost powdery surface.

This time, however, Anna Minakova chose to work through contrast.

For Mycelium, created for Wisharawish’s previous collection, the jewellery followed the same visual language as the clothes: organic forms, natural references, shades of grey, darkened surfaces and a sense of something grown rather than constructed.

Following the success of Mycelium, Wisharawish and Alice in WonderLab come together for the second year in a row with a new collaboration created especially for Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo.

The same lunar motif appears in short chokers made from fluid snake chain. The idea is then reduced even further in a series of minimalistic bracelets and rings made from the same chain.

Another necklace is formed from oversized pill-shaped links and finished with a carbine hook. The other end is one of the collection’s recurring lunar elements: a mother-of-pearl disc centred with a mabé pearl.

This time they appear in very different forms. Some are intricate, with complex, almost handmade-looking weaves. Others are reduced to clear, highly geometric shapes.

Chains once again became one of the principal elements of the collection, creating a visual link with the previous collaboration.

L’Ingrédient secret

For generations in France, the phrase has carried associations of lightness, humour, nostalgia and a certain effortless pleasure in life.
Wisharawish translates this mood into colour, texture and form.
The name itself carries another distinctly French association. Salade de fruits is not only a familiar light dessert but also the title of Bourvil’s famous 1959 chanson, with its instantly recognisable refrain, “Salade de fruits, jolie, jolie, jolie…”
This connection is particularly relevant now: until November, Wisharawish’s work is featured in an exhibition dedicated to the cultural and fashion dialogue between France and Thailand, with his gown included in the exhibition.
The designer has lived and worked extensively in France, and French culture has remained an important point of reference throughout his practice.
For Spring/Summer 2027, WISHARAWISH presents Salade de Fruits, a collection whose playful French title reflects Wisharawish Akarasantisook’s long personal and creative relationship with France.
